FAQs & Rates

  • During the first session we will talk about what challenges bring you to therapy and any past experiences in therapy. I will gather some background info through a structured assessment. You can ask me questions as well. You might be curious about my experience or how future sessions work.

The most important part of a first session is that you feel comfortable and supported.

  • All services are provided through a confidential, HIPAA compliant platform that can be accessed by smartphone, tablet or computer. You will receive a link which will provide you with video access. It is best to be in a secure environment to ensure your privacy and be free from other distractions. You must be located physically in PA to participate in teletherapy (due to state licensing requirements).

  • Beyond ease of access and efficiency, teletherapy provides accessibility to trauma specialized care and the convenience of meeting without the additional travel time. To make the most out of sessions it is best to be free of distractions and in an environment where you can speak freely.

  • The best way to reach me is through the contact form on this site. You are also welcome to call if that is your preference. After receiving your request we'll work together to schedule a free 15-minute phone consultation. The phone consultation is our opportunity to discuss your current concerns, to assess the ways I can possibly support you, and whether we might be a fit.

  • EMDR sessions can be provided over video. In order to ensure the most effective experience I recommend a tablet or a computer rather than a phone. No device should be held during the session and sessions cannot take place inside a parked car. (As opposed to virtual talk therapy sessions which can be done while a vehicle is completely parked). Additionally, it is also recommended to be in a secure location free from distraction.
